Noob Character Change question - Guild Wars Forums

Hey everyone, looks like a nice forum. Well I've just started playing GW and I'm trying to learn the basics.

One question that is currently on my mind is this: once you've made a character, is there a way to change the - clothes/hair/skin etc. that you chose on the initial build...........or do you have to start over?

Anyway, this is going to be a big change in gaming for me....I've been into shooter games since 2004. But honestly, I wanted a break. That's the main reason I chose to be an Elementalist = I can get the job done without even having to stab or shoot anyone!!!

Well, I've got a lot to learn, and this seems to be a nice place to get started.

The Armour (clothes) are changable, you can purchase new ones from armour traders (shown by [Armour] after their name).
Hair and Skin can only be changed by a Makerover trader, which you must pay real life money to use.

Welcome to GW and the forum.

Your Characters are with you for a long time so choose carefully both name and look.

You will probably take a little time to find the right character class too, I made and dropped several in the first couple of days.

In GW, the only permanent thing about your character is your primary profession (secondary can be changed later in the storyline as many times as you like). Changing your looks costs some real life money, but that really isn't an issue unless you get bored of staring at the same face/hair/gender/name after a few years.

I would reroll if you are still at an early lvl below 10 or 14 say.It would be advised to make up a another char first or pvp char. to take care of everything in your vault.

This would save you the money.
